Author are encouraged to send an electronic version of their manuscript in MS-WORD or PDF format to expedite the reviewing process. The electronic copy should be e-mailed to either. ganc1@incoln.ac.nz or minsoolee@szpku.edu.cn

Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that they have not been submitted for publisher elsewhere and if accepted will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the publisher. Previous presentation at conferences should be disclosed. Author(s) will be notified via email upon receipt of manuscripts. The journal does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of manuscripts submitted. Submitted manuscripts that exceed 25 pages will not be considered.

Manuscripts should be written in English, Double-spaced with one inch margins, printed on one side of A4 or letter-size white paper. All pages must be consecutively numbered. Titles and subtitles should be kept as short as possible. Avoid footnotes, endnotes, and appendices. References, tables, and figures should be printed on separate pages.

Include a cover page as a separate file attachment (it should not be in the same file that contains your manuscript). This separate cover page must contain the following information: (1) the title, (ii) the name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s), (iii) mailing address(es), (iv) telephone and fax number(s), and (v) e-mail address(es). To facilitate anonymous reviews, indications of authorship should appear only on this page. Acknowledgements and information on grants received can be provided within this page.

The second page should contain the title followed by the abstract (not more than 250 words), maximum 3 key words and 3 JEL classification numbers (for example, C20, D72, and N16) and the text proper. There should be no names(s) and address(es) of the author(s) on this and the subsequent pages.

Figures will be reproduced photographically from originals supplied by the author. Only relevant figures and tables should be included on separate pages (should not be inserted in the text) and should be numbered consecutively in the text using Arabic numerals. Legends for figures should also be printed on separate pages. The titles and legends on tables and figures must be sufficiently descriptive so that they are understandable without reference to the text.

All wordings, graph lines and points on graphs should be sufficiently large and bold to permit reproduction when the diagram has been reduced to a size suitable for inclusion in the journal. Do not use any type of shading on computer generated illustrations.

Formulae should be numbered consecutively against the right-hand margin of the page throughout the manuscript as in (1), (2), (3), etc. If the derivation of formulae has been abbreviated, the full mathematical derivation should be presented on a Appendix.

References

References in the text should appear as Randall (1990) or Luzar et al. (1993). The author should make sure that there is a strict one-to-one correspondence between the names and years in the text and those included in the reference list. The reference list should begin on a separate page at the end of the main text before tables, figures and appendices. References should be listed in alphabetical order by author's last name. Note that journal and book titles, either italicized or underlined, should not be abbreviated. References should appear as follows:

For a periodical

Rosen S, (1974), "Hedonic Prices and Implicit Markets: Product Differentiation in Pure Competition", Journal of Political Economy, 82: 34-55.

For contributions to collective works

Campbell, J.Y. and Perron, P., (1991), "Pitfalls and Opportunities: What Macroeconomists Should Know About Unit Roots," In Harris, R.I.D. (ed)1995, Using Cointegration Analysis in Econometric Modelling, United Kingdom: Prentice Hall.

Data used in the empirical analysis should be sufficiently documented and be readily available to any researcher for purposes of replication. In the case of publicly available data sets, identification of variables used and any selection criteria for inclusion in the sample will suffice.

Any manuscript that does not conform to the above instructions may be returned for necessary revision before publication. Manuscripts failing to either meet the guidelines listed here, or to comply with the aims and scope of this journal, will be rejected without review. No paper will be rejected solely on the grounds of being too technical or too applied. As an applied journal targeting general readership, we ask authors to take care to motivate their work and to communicate in clarity.

Proofs will be sent to the author (first named author if no corresponding author is identified of multi-authored papers) and should be returned within 48 hours of receipt. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors; any others may be changed to the author. Any queries should be answered in full. Please note that authors are urged to check their proofs carefully before return, since the inclusion of late corrections cannot be guaranteed. Authors should submit an electronic copy of their paper with the FINAL version of the manuscript in MS-WORD or PDF Format. Always keep a backup copy of the electronic file for reference and safety.

No part of this publication may be reproduced stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or be any means or otherwise without the permission of the publisher.

Corrections to Published Work:

Honest errors are a part of research and publishing and require publication of a correction when they are detected. We expect authors to inform the Journal’s Editor of any errors of fact they have noticed or been informed of in their article once published. Corrections are made at the journal’s discretion. The correction procedure depends on the publication stage of the article, but in all circumstances a correction notice is published as soon as possible. Details can be found on the Call for Papers section of the journal website.

Retractions:

Retractions are considered by journal editors in cases of evidence of unreliable data or findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and unethical research. We may consider an expression of concern notice if an article is under investigation. All retraction notices will explain why the article was retracted. The retraction procedure depends on the publication stage of the article.

Review Process:  This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The articles is submitted to minimum 3 reviewers specialize on the topic for their reviews.
